In several research projects, students and staff at Tbilisi Free University have analyzed and reconstructed some of these farms and, using archival material, have examined historical processes and structures. During a joint expedition with the Free University of Tbilisi and the Ostfalia University of Applied Sciences, the focus shifts from a historical perspective to present-day and future life and work in the Meurneobas.

After a few years away, we’re returning to visit our friends at IndieCon from 06 to 08 September in Hamburg. Come along and help us co-create a series of posters on the intersection of analogue/digital publishing and resource consumption.

Together with students from Georgia and Germany we just made an interdisciplinary field to Svaneti, recording traces of change. 

Dear People, join us on Saturday,  August 5th, 2023, for the Exhibition Opening "What is Private?", marking the culmination of artist Sandro Sulaberidze's residency. The event promises captivating insights into his ongoing work, which centers around his private archive of 200k+ images collected over 10 years of the Georgian art scene.

We are thrilled to announce Sandro Sulaberidze as our second resident in Cologne. Together with the freelance curator Florian Müller, we act as an intercultural mediator in the artistic context in addition to our workshops and events. We are honoured that Sandro will be in Cologne for the residency from June to August, and are looking forward to new impressions and a lively exchange with the Cologne artist scene.
