At a time where the political situation in Ukraine is still volatile, we believe it is more than ever important to bring together the people living in the country that are separated not only by a geological border but also by mutual prejudices and social divides. To create a bridge between those who are preconditioned by Russian propaganda and those who see their brothers and sisters as well as the East as traitors.

The project was realized in the framework of a summer school in September 2018. With a group of 10 participants from the West of Ukraine and 10 participants from the East, we spend one week in Lutsk and one week in Severodonetsk and created a journalistic magazine from scratch which was printed and distributed locally and worldwide. The participants served as ambassadors to promote understanding among young Ukrainians from both sides and continue to publish.
