The Indiecon Summer School is a five-day intensive course in independent publishing that was held for the second time in the week before the Indiecon. It brought together emerging talent from the domains of design, photography, illustration, journalism and the arts. In a rapid publishing project, the participants produced a printed magazine named 41–43 which features a single topic.

Like the first issue, this second issue of 41-43 was produced as part of the IndieCon Summer School. A total of five days were allotted for the production, from the first idea to the printing. A real pioneer plant in the German press forest.
