Journalism, Digital, Workshop
For this project we invited young publishers from Belarus and Ukraine to join us in making a online magazine. The first stories we collected are about ‘water’ and ‘borders’ but we aim for more: Our vision is to build a new platform for independent journalism in the Eastern Partnerships.
The seminar pursued two goals: On the one hand, different approaches to digital self-publishing were to be taught and tested independently by the participants. On the other hand, the participants were to set up their own website on which the resulting work would be published.

10 Days
The workshop met with great interest among the participants. The offer to create journalistic stories and publish them independently was accepted by the participants with high motivation and sustained commitment. In total, more than 20 stories (reports, photo reports, self-experiments, infographics and short documentaries) of a very high standard were produced.
The participants' high level of identification with the publication was reflected in the lively activity on Facebook, where the page was quickly multiplied, in the independent organisation of an accompanying exhibition and the translations of the texts into Russian, Belarusian, Ukrainian and Romanian, which were also organised independently.
