Luther appeared on the threshold of a new media age and used the new possibilities to initiate a cultural reformation in Europe. What does it mean to publish 500 years later? Who are the agents of change in 2017? From whom do reformatory impulses still emanate today? In an interdisciplinary workshop together with the Protestant Church in the Rhineland, we searched for stories of upheaval, portrayed places of change and attempted to build a bridge between the Reformation and the changemakers of the 21st century.

Together with experienced journalists, designers and photographers, the participants developed their own story and worked on the editorial and design idea for the magazine. The result was a magazine that we produce from the initial idea to printing.
